          As seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the iconic Republic Frigate features detachable escape pod, flick missile, opening cockpit, rotating turbolaser cannons, proton torpedo launcher, retractable undercarriage, o pening hatches and detailed interior. Includes Yoda, Eeth Koth, Quinlan Vos, Clone Commander Wolffe and Wolfpack Clone Trooper minifigures.

I purchased this set for myself, a 31 y/o Star Wars nut, so this review is going to be more for people like me that build these sets for the fun of uilding and to put them on display. So far this is my largest Lego build, and by far was the most enjoyable to put together. The detail level on it is very nice, and all of the core structure is very sturdy. There are a few pieces that will pop off fairly easily, but they are all cosmetics (antennas, turrets, etc.) and are quite simple to just pop back on. The stickers appear to be pretty good and will probably stay attached on display for a long time. It is pre-organized into numbered bags that correpsond to a step in the build process, which makes it much less time consuming to build (no more digging through 1k pieces looking for that one little 1peg piece). This organized assembly process is also kind of neat to watch, as it goes together just like modern naval vessels: One segment at a time. It is a large kit, and will take up quite a bit of space on your display shelf. I'm going to have mine on a coffee table next to the Milenium Falcon kit I'm getting for Xmas. It is well balanced enough that hanging it from the carry handle is probably a viable option as well.

The numerous details on this modified Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 freighter would impress even Luke Skywalker. Mini-Figures Let Kids Recreate Scenes
This set includes LEGO mini-figures of Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, and Darth Vader, so you can replay your favorite scenes from the movie. Place figures outside the ship to have Obi-Wan and Vader duel, or place them inside the opening hull to play chess, hide in the smuggling compartments, or observe Luke's remote training. For enhanced play, the set includes three lightsabers, three blasters, and one crossbow.
Building Your Own Millennium Falcon
With 1,254 LEGO pieces, the Millennium Falcon took more than four hours for our testers to construct. Split between two adult builders, these hours provided a fun time to reminisce about favorite Star Wars moments.
A large percentage of the pieces come in shades of gray, and approaching construction requires a bit of organization and discipline. Detailed step-by-step instructions help ensure that construction is a relatively straightforward process, despite the complexity of the finished model.
As impressive as the finished model may be, our testers noted a few minor oversights worth mentioning. For starters, there are no mini-figures of C-3PO or R2D2 included, making the scene reconstruction feel incomplete. Also, only Han Solo and Chewbacca are capable of fitting in the cockpit. However, considering the amount of overall detail included in this model, any Star Wars fan would be delighted to proudly put it on display.

This Star War 8098 Set has one of the most wanted CLONE TURBO TANK as seen in Clone War that comes with 1141 pieces to build, famous minifigures to play (Anakan Skywalker, Ahsoka, Jedi Knight Aayla Secura and Cad Bane plus 2 clone troopers) and many cool features such as command center, dual cockpits and foldable scout walker and moveable guns and lightsabers. My kid gets this set for his 8th birthday and this is his favorite toy certainly. It is very sturdy as compared to the other walkers he built and it has a pop-up handle so he can carry the whole tank easily. It is very entertaining as he can open the panels and see more details inside and the wheels rolls and turns really well. It looks magnificent once it's built and this set will be an exciting collection to any serious star war Lego fan.

Building the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser
With 1,170 pieces and two colorful instruction booklets, the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser took our two adult testers approximately three-and-a-half hours to construct. The majority of the pieces come in shades of gray, so approaching construction requires a bit or organization and discipline. But once building is started, detailed step-by-step illustrations make assembly straightforward.
Overall, this set scores an excellent rating for its clever design elements. Just when you think you've discovered all the hidden weapons and command posts, you stumble across another. Our favorite features are the Palpatine mini figure -- complete with cloth cape and wrinkled brow -- the sliding gunner, the hidden Clone Trooper cockpit, the escape pod, the bomb dropper, and the Chancellor's enormous command center.
Finally, most of all, our testers enjoyed the way the narrative of this set allowed them to reenact the ship-to-ship combat seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. They also appreciated that the storyline is simple enough to make the set entertaining, whether or not your child has seen the film.

He broke the construction up into three shorter sessions to make it more enjoyable and had only one slight difficulty. While Lego instructions are known for being colorful and accurate, there were a handful of pieces in our booklet that appeared clear when they were in fact yellow. This didn't do anything to diminish our appreciation for this model. Our tester struggled to find anything negative to say, and he gave this ship a fun factor score of one million, based on a scale of one to 10!
Cockpits in unexpected locations on the wings, unique sliding doors, the zoomer buggy, and an emergency capsule for sick and injured characters ranked high on the list of cool features. That's not all though. There's also a front side compartment that opens so you can remove the command station, eight positionable flick-fire missiles on top, two rotating missiles in front, and a top compartment which opens to provide access to the spy droids.
When asked if there was a downside to this gunship, our tester could only reply, "It's the best ever! I just like the whole set." Soon after completing construction, he had a big battle with all the ships in his collection and commented on how this set includes updated pieces that he's never seen before.
Even though there's plenty of features on just the Republic Attack Gunship to hold a child's interest for a long time, we can imagine how much fun the set would be with a whole group of friends and siblings plus all their Star Wars ships. We also appreciate the way that Lego systems never limit imaginative play. All the cool hardware that makes up the Republic Attack Gunship can be used to build any structure or vehicle your child dreams up.
